The use of high quality lightweight materials, thought out designs and skilled workmanship gives us the ability to reduce the weight of the pouches and improve the build quality at the same time.
Where possible, we source MOD UK spec IRR materials here in the UK or US milspec materials from the USA.
Other materials not available in milspec standards have been chosen for their performance and quality such as Tactical Tailor's Malice Clips(TM) for attaching our pouches.
To design a pouch, we consult with soldiers and do many hours of research and build our pouches to fit around current issued gear. We pinpont the areas of stress and work with our sewers to strengthen and improve the designs.
On top of all that, the gear is made here in the UK, supporting UK jobs and industry.

* Crye Precision Multicam: Breaking Test: ASTM 2261 Tensile Test: ASTM 5034
A true side by side comparison is not possible as materials have been tested in different labs to two different certified tests and measurements which will effect the outcome of the results, both materials are of a very high quality and designed for military end use.
Cheaper products tend to use 600d polyester backed with a PVC backing to add strength and though the product may be designed for military end use, the material is definately not. Polyester is designed for low cost production and civilian end use with no IRR properties.
Though you will find products made from 600d polyester will feel rigid, they actually have lower abrasion, tear and breaking specs but weigh more due to the PVC backing.
